Calling all Michigan tech / startup folks! Join the Shine On Summit by Shine & Rise on April 10th at Bamboo Detroit.
The mission of the summit is to advance the ideas and perspectives of underrepresented folks in tech, as we believe events and organizations like these are the catalyst of our collective growth and advancing diverse perspectives in the tech and startup ecosystem.
Throughout the summit, you will engage in lightning breakout talks and hear remarks from influential speakers, all addressing the question:
What does it mean to RISE? Where are we headed and what do we need to get there?
Come to hear ideas (old and new), connect with like-hearted folks, and maybe walk away with a light-bulb moment of your own!

How do your Membership Agreements work?
You can sign up to work with us on a monthly, 6-month, or 12-month basis.
If you aren’t quite ready for a membership, we offer day passes and conference room rentals.
Do I get access to all Bamboo locations?
Yes! All members have access to all Bamboo locations. Members have a homebase such as Royal Oak, then get business access hours M-F 9-5pm in other locations. Credits easily roll over so you can book rooms anywhere, anytime.
What are your COVID-19 policies?
- We follow all CDC and State of Michigan guidelines for preventing Covid-19. Please inquire to confirm most recent guidelines.
What parking options are available?
In Detroit
- There is plenty of street parking within walking distance. Lots charge $2-10 a day. Free parking is available at nearby casinos. Inquire for latest parking dedicated rates.
In Royal Oak
- Street parking is free before 11am.
- You can also get two hours of free parking at the Center Street Garage behind our building ($0.75/hour after the first two hours)
- You can also purchase a parking pass for unlimited parking for $50/month.
In Ann Arbor
- Street parking is all around us
- There are a variety of dedicated parking options around us, ranging $135-200 per spot per month.
