State of the Royal Oak Chamber & Awards Ceremony 2024

The City of Royal Oak is hosting their 2024 State of the Chamber & Awards Ceremony during Business over Breakfast on March 21st, 2024. Awards will be presented for Business of the Year, Ambassador of the Year, and Business Beautifications.

In addition, you will hear from networking groups like Business Women’s Network and Network First as well as Chairman of the Board, Michael Pesendorfer, who will be sharing key insights about the activities, goals, and State of the Chamber.

Thanks to one of our members, Jason Brown, Bamboo Royal Oak has been nominated for an award! We’ll be in attendance and we want to invite all of the Bamboo members to join us in celebrating all of the amazing businesses that have been nominated.

Since opening in February 2021, Bamboo has been welcomed by our new community here in Royal Oak and we have loved to call it our new home. We aim to bring our members and surrounding communities together to build relationships, businesses, and friendships with a diverse group of individuals from all walks of life. Being in the City of Royal Oak has been amazing for the Bamboo community as a whole, helping us build a bridge from Detroit to the greater Metro Detroit community.

Over the last three years, we’ve been able to do a plethora of awesome things. Including filling up the building to 90-100% capacity, which brings awesome people from all over the local area. (So make sure you meet a person or two over the next luncheon.) In 2023, we hosted over 128 community events for our members and guests; ranging from vendor markets, wellness programs, educational sessions, and creative parties. We’ve also built connections with 9+ local businesses to bring additional benefits to our members and support local businesses through our Member Perks program.

The Bamboo team strives to make the members' experience special and we have an internal motto that when our members grow and thrive, so do we. We own this and do our best to take care of our members by creating an exceptional and individual experience for everyone that walks through our front doors. Even when we have to buzz them in.
